Two Lions players were fined Saturday for their respective penalties in Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers.

Safety Brian Branch and wide receiver Jameson Williams were both hit with a fine of $11,593 for their respective unsportsmanlike conduct penalties (Branch in the first quarter, Williams in the second quarter.) both were flagged for taunting.

Branch was actually hit twice with fines from Week 1. His facemask penalty drew an unnecessary roughness call in the first quarter, to which he was also fined $11,593.

With Branch being fined about $23,000, he ends up losing about a quarter of his game check from Week 1. His game checks come out to about $85,000.
