KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL) — Brandon Worley continued his dominant summer on the amateur golf circuit, birdieing three of his final four holes Sunday to solidify his win in the Championship Flight at the Ridgefields Invitational.
Worley entered the final round one shot behind first-round leader Blake Adams before closing with a 1-under 71 to finish at 5-under 139 for the two-day tournament. It marked Worley’s third invitational victory in recent weeks, adding the Ridgefields title to wins at the Lonesome Pine Invitational and the East Tennessee Amateur.
Leo Huddleston finished runner-up at 3-under 142, while Adams placed third at 1-under 143 after opening the tournament with a first-round 67. Matt Bowers, Jake Fowler and Blake Blizard shared fourth place at even-par 144.
