I've listened to him often on Westwood. Usually traveling back on Mondays after going to a game. We usually fly from Minneapolis so my wife can go help with the four boys while we're going to the games. So Monday night travel bring Monday night football on the radio.

I know this isn't how it goes in this day and time, but couldn't we have gotten someone from the Valley? Or at least homegrown? As a Philadelphian who has listened to Merril Reese call eagles games for my entire life, there's something about a radio announcer that is 1000% invested in the team, yet is able to balance his fandom with calling the game professionally. I get that Reese is a legend and those just don't grow on trees, but I felt like Dave was OURS and not just somebody thrown in the booth with a Cardinals logo on. I'll certainly give Shadrick his fair due. He sounds pretty good, but I'm spoiled to an extent with amazing announcers for all of the Philly teams and hope I'll take to this dude. Good luck to him.

Shadrick has a great sports radio voice. Seems like a very solid hire to me. Looking forward to hearing him.
