Anthony Kim completed one of the most remarkable comebacks in the history of the game with his win at LIV Golf Adelaide earlier this year.
After Kim won on LIV, there were calls for the Augusta National hierarchy to give the 40-year-old an exemption into this year’s Masters.
However, no invite has been given to the LIV Golf star.
Anthony Kim has endured real struggles away from the game over the past 15 years or so.

The LIV golfer has battled addiction but managed to come out the other side, one day at a time, of course.
Kim’s win at LIV Adelaide was one of the biggest talking points in the game for a long, long time and it still is.
Many believed his feel-good story would be complete with a Masters invitation but he has been left disappointed in that regard.
Brandel Chamblee reacts to Anthony Kim not receiving a Masters invite
Kim told Chamblee he was destined for greatness when they first met around 28 years ago.
That obviously never happened but that was the path chosen for him, and he has become a better man because of the struggles he has endured.
However, his fine play on LIV this season was not rewarded with a special invite to play at Augusta National.
Chamblee responded when asked by Golf WRX whether Augusta National has made a mistake by not offering Kim a special invite into The Masters this year.

“Anthony Kim is ranked 455th in the world by Data Golf, which unlike the OWGR has been awarding ranking points to the LIV Tour all along,“ Chamblee said.
“Kim’s win resonated with a number of people in the golf world because of his personal struggles and going back almost two decades, his past popularity and disappearance from the game.
“Had he carried on playing great immediately after that victory, (he’s finished 31st, 17th and next to last in the three events after his win), he may have garnered the attention of the invite committee as Joaquin Niemann did with his consistent play and in winning the Australian Open in 2024.“
Anthony Kim holds Masters record
Kim currently holds the record for the most birdies made in a single round at Augusta National.
The 40-year-old made 11 birdies during the second round of the 2009 Masters.
Kim shot a round of seven-under-par 65 that day and ended up finishing in a tie for 20th.
He was a frightening talent when he burst onto the scene nearly two decades ago now.
Things obviously haven’t panned out as he would have liked, but he deserves huge credit for bouncing back and returning to the winners’ circle.
The 40-year-old could have died on multiple occasions by his own admission while he was in active addiction.
Now he has returned to the top of the game once again. However, a return to The Masters at some point in the near future would cap off what has already been a truly unbelievable turnaround for Anthony Kim.
