The Bucks buying out Lillard for $113 million was much more costly.
lulz what?Beal is not slow and will cover the best guard. Will not be surprised if we all hate buying him out and not trading Booker

James Harden was reportedly 'the key voice' in recruiting Bradley Beal to Clippers
The Clippers landed Beal with a big assist from their star point guard.sports.yahoo.com
Going forward we can add salary over the luxury tax and stay below the two aprons, whenever the Beal contract occurs. It's the end of the season when everything is finally tallied up.Bradley Beal has only been bought out.
He has not yet been waived and stretched. The Suns have until August 31st to do it.
These are two different things.
I was listening to 98.7 and they had Kellan Olsen in this week. It's coming out the Bradley Beal buy out was really contentious on both sides. Kellan said some of the info is coming right from Beal's agent, not anonymous sources. Seems like this wasn't just some "the NBA is just a business" transaction.
“With the decision on the waive and stretch, people all thought the no-trade clause caused an issue. The no-trade clause wasn’t an issue with Brad Beal. Brad Beal would have done whatever we needed to do. He’s nothing but a good guy across the board. Problem is nobody really wanted to trade for someone on a $53 million salary that wasn’t playing at that level.” - Matt Ishbia
Except you did two years ago, Matt.
Except you did two years ago, Matt.
I just don’t need to hear it from him. We know why it’s immovable and bringing it up as a partial shot at Beal does nobody any good. That's the problem. He was cool paying the tax for a minute but didn't consider the weight of taking on that deal for 4 years.
If he would have played as Ishbia thought, he wouldn't have been getting rid of him now. That's the problem. He was cool paying the tax for a minute but didn't consider the weight of taking on that deal for 4 years.
Absolute truth. As I said after the Durant acquisition, Ishbia is the guy you want at your poker table because he has been sitting there an hour and hasn't figured out yet who the sucker is.
He was my favorite player after Kevin DuranAt least he left for good money
