Ahead of the 2026 NBA Draft, the Boston Celtics have been keeping busy working out players for their Nos. 27 and 40 overall selections, and University of Connecticut big man Tarris Reed Jr. is among them. Standing at 6-foot-11 and weighing in at 264 lbs., Reed is a surprisingly mobile big man given his measurements.

And last season with UConn, the 22-year-old center put up 14.7 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2.0 blocks, and just under a steal per game. He also shot 60.7 percent from the field overall (took no shots from beyond the arc) and 61.7 percent from the free throw line. And he is also a St. Louis, Missouri native who went to Chaminade College Preparatory School as Jayson Tatum did, for what that is worth.

The folks behind the "No Ceilings" YouTube channel put together a clip of his best play from last season to watch. Check it out below!
