The Boston Celtics are putting in the work ahead of the 2026 NBA Draft to prepare for any contingency. And somer of that work has been the many prospects they have interviewed, including Florida State guard LaJae Jones. A 6-foot-7 forward who forged an unusual path to the draft via three NCAA and one junior college including his last stop with the Seminoles, Jones is projected late in the second round or beyond.
But the Florida native has shown some flashes at Florida state, putting up 12.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game. He did that while shooting 42.7 percent from the floor overall, 32.5 percent from beyond the arc, and a reassuring 76.3 percent from the free throw line.
The folks behind the "ACC Digital Network" YouTube channel put together a clip from his 2025-26 season with Florida State. Check it out below!
