Ahead of the 2026 NBA Draft, the Boston Celtics have been putting in the work to find their picks for the Nos. 27 and 40 selections of the draft. And among the players they have been working out can be included St. John's Dillon Mitchell, a 22-year-old forward standing at 6-foot-8 and weighing in at 202 lbs.
The Red Storm alum put up 8.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 55.9 percent from the floor overall, a concerning 6.7 percent from beyond the arc, and an equally concerning 49.4 percent from the free throw line. Slated to be picked at the end of the second round or beyond in most mocks, Mitchell appears to be a trade-back development option for Boston.
