The Boston Celtics have interviewed a long list of prospective players for the looming 2026 NBA Draft -- and that is just taking into account those interviews we know of. Among the players Celtics President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens and company have been checking out is Iowa State point guard Tamin Lipsey.
A smaller floor general at just 6-foot-1, Lipsey is mocked late in the second round or beyond in most assessments, hinting at a potential trade-back candidate. The Ames, Iowa native put up 13.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and a handsy 2.3 steals per game in his last NCAA campaign. In that, he shot 45.9 percent from the floor overall, a concerning 31.6 percent from beyond the arc, and 65.6 percent from the free throw line.
The folks behind the "Leo Hanson" YouTube channel put together a clip of some of his best plays for us to watch. Check it out below!
