SPRINGFIELD–Caden Bogenpohl has accomplished several milestones every baseball player dreams about, in his short career:
-Play baseball for a nationally known Division-I program (Missouri State)
-Get invited to the Major League Baseball Draft Combine
-Get selected in the top two rounds of the MLB Draft (64th overall pick by the Philadelphia Phillies)
However, despite those incredible achievements, the Jackson, Missouri product has remained humble and grateful.
So, it was no surprise when Bogenpohl spoke with reporters, following the MLB Draft, and told us what it meant to come from Jackson and how he’s taking on the role of being a role model for the next generation of athletes.
