Startin' to look that way isn't it?

I just don't understand it.....this is an important year for the Cardinals to grab season ticket holders for that new stadium......and now it seems like were actually WORSE THAN WE WERE AT THE START OF THE SAESON!

I agree that we will probably end up signing a few guys, most likely in the next couple of weeks.....and MAYBE one of them will turn out to be a decent performer for us on the field. But for Christ's sake....if you're going to make a "splash"--make a damn splash, otherwise just come out and say-- "We're going to try our hardest to look involved, but in the end we'll just sign a few mediocre players and hopefully catch lightning in a bottle"

Don't get me wrong, I do think that some of the FA's so far have gotton WAY too much money, but if we're going to improve this team and make a playoff push---sooner or later they will have to sign a "Ken Lucas" or "Reggie Hayward" and overspend a little.

This whole situation completely boggles my mind, I really thought they would kick it up a notch. My mistake I guess--- here's hopin they sign a few guys and between now a a few weeks from now and have a good draft. This team really is not that far from contention.

Well, even though I'm not in panic mode, the dude has a great point. We were TOLD we would make this 'big splash', so what did management think the fans would say when it didn't happen? Should've just kept their big mouths shut, went ahead with business, and I'd still be cool. I'd still be a little worried, as I am right now, but I'd still be cool.

I agree ... It is still early and you don't want to pay 8 million a year on Lucas do you ?? There are some quality free agents left on the board especially at guard.

I don't want to see the Cards panick here and give Warner the bank. Also since the prices are going sky high on a lot of people right now we should be unloading Raynoch, Clement, and WB. We might not get anything for WB, but we should be able to get something for Raynoch and Clement ...

Plus look at it this angle the only people that we are losing that made any difference last year was Ronaldo Hill, Duane Starks, and Shelton. Hill is not gone yet, but at the way CB are going he will be. Starks was always injured, but still had a good year so that might be a little hard to replace. Shelton is not gone yet, but we still may be able to get a good RT in free agency.
