Norwegian biathletes Johan-Olav Botn and Sturla Holm Lægreid will return to the World Cup for the first time since the death of team-mate Sivert Guttorm Bakken, their federation said on Monday.
Both are in the squad for the races starting on Wednesday in Ruhpolding, Bavaria, after missing the Oberhof meet through illness.
Italy’s Tommaso Giacomel replaced Botn as overall World Cup leader in Oberhof.
Botn found his friend Bakken dead in his hotel room in Italy on December 23.
