Bender Out for the Season with Ankle Surgery

Way I look at it... young big man with any kind of foot ankle surgery? Don't rush him back. End the season, take care of injury and get healthy for next season.

Has to be a case by case basis. Not all foot/ankle surgeries are created equal and if he is 100% good to go before the end of the season than I see no upside to shutting him down.

I'm definitely in agreement the Suns should not rush Bender back in action but I think he will get some practice time when he is healthy and possibly play some game activity to get him primed for next season. Anyway, it's decision the Suns medical team and FO need to make.
