Bearcats Baseball voted to finish first in Preseason Poll

VESTAL, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – The Binghamton Bearcats baseball team has been voted by America East coaches to finish atop the conference this coming season.

For the third time in four years and coming off a championship run, Bearcats baseball has been picked to win the conference. The poll was released on Wednesday, and the team was picked first with 32 points and three first-place votes.

Center fielder Matt Bolton and starting pitcher Hayden Tarsia were also chosen to the preseason All-Conference team.

The Bearcats begin their season on February 13th with a series at nationally-ranked Dallas Baptist.
