It does? I'm not at all sure of that.

BTW, what's the reference? I've only heard of sniffing burlap from a mid 70's song by Jim Stafford, I'm assuming it has some other significance but I'm not familiar with it.

Think its very well done. I like the interplay with a "prequal" to a story from the 50's set in modern times. Looks like lots of juicy sleazy fun. Pure escapism, with a cast thats got good chops. Highmore has been great 3 episodes in.

The Bates Motel isn’t shutting down anytime soon.

After season 3’s shocking conclusion, A&E has picked up Bates Motel for two more seasons. Specifically, the network has ordered 20 more episodes of the drama starring Freddie Highmore and Vera Farmiga as Norman and Norma Bates.
