TCU baseball has failed to qualify for the NCAA tournament this season. The NCAA Selection Show was aired on Monday, when the Horned Frogs learned they would not compete in the postseason. It’s the second time in the last three years that TCU has missed out on the regional action. The Horned Frogs, who went 33-21 when they missed the postseason in 2024, also finished with a 33-21 record and a 17-13 Big 12 record in 2026.

TCU, which lost its one and only game of the Big 12 tournament on Wednesday, was a top-10 ranked team in the preseason. Since reaching the College World Series in 2023, the Horned Frogs haven’t hosted a single regional and have not advanced beyond the regional level. The program is now 154-87 under Kirk Saarloos, who took it over from Jim Schlossnagle in late 2021. TCU will have multiple draft-eligible players, including outfielders Sawyer Strosnider, Chase Brunson and infielder Cole Cramer, who could declare for the MLB Draft this year.
