New Augusta University branding is being added at the Donald Ross-designed Forest Hills Golf Club to remind visitors that the course is part of the nearby university and has long been a part of the community.

“Forest Hills has long been a place where Augusta University and our community come together, and these enhancements make that relationship even more visible. This course is not only a valued community resource, it is an integral part of Augusta University and the home course of our Division I men’s and women’s golf teams,” said AU President Russell T. Keen in a news release.

"When visitors step onto the property, we want them to immediately recognize that they are entering a space shaped by our institution, enriched by its legacy, and reflective of the strong partnership we share with the Augusta community.”

The renovations to Forest Hills, which began in 2024, include branding updates to the main-entrance awning and on-course pavilion, a full exterior cleaning, and new paint in the clubhouse, its walkway, and the entry pavilion.

Ross designed the course, which opened 100 years ago. The Augusta University golf team, which won the 2010 and 2011 NCAA Men’s National Championships, has called it home for years, including when Patrick Reed was a team member. The club is located not far from Augusta National Golf Club and is a 7140-yard, par 72 course.
