AUGUSTA, Ga. — E-Z-GO has given 75 golf cars to the newly renovated Augusta Municipal Golf Course, commonly known as The Patch, according to a news release from the company.
The E-Z-GO RXV ELiTE golf cars are equipped with the Pace Technology fleet management system. The company will also provide Cushman Hauler ELiTE utility vehicles to support the golf course’s operation. And, the company also plans to contribute to help keep cart fees at $10 for golfers who live in the Augusta area, according to the release.
“E-Z-GO has a longstanding relationship with The Patch, which is our hometown municipal course and has been an E-Z-GO customer for as long as anyone can remember,” said Adam Harris, senior vice president and general manager at E-Z-GO, in a news release. “We are humbled and honored to be able to support public golf in our community through this new initiative, and to be part of the magical reimagining of this historic and important facility.”
The 18-hole walking rate for Augusta residents is $25 Monday through Thursday, and $35 Friday through Sunday. There is a new short golf course named The Loop at The Patch that costs $15 for local residents to play during the day.
