ASU vs Notre Dame

I love ASU but I've always thought it was idiotic that they call their yellow unis gold.

Notre Dame wears gold. FSU wears gold. UW wears gold. ASU wears YELLOW!

In all the years I have rooted for ASU I never even thought of that. Must seem pretty odd to outsiders.

I wonder how maroon and gold would look? Probably like FSU! I like the maroon and yellow that we rock now, not sure I would want to change it.

Under the 7-4-1 schedule model adopted by White and followed during the 2009 and 2010 football seasons, Notre Dame played seven true home games, four road games, and the Shamrock Series game, which in terms of receipts and television coverage is considered a home game.

My goodness, wouldn't it be nice. Only 4 road games out of 12? At least they Notre Dame usually plays quality opponents instead of cupcakes.

Looks like they took the pitchforks off the side of the helmets and just have on on the back of the helmet... I like it (didn't like the yellow pitchfork against the yellow fire), but I'm not an ASU fan.

The refs need to learn what uncatchable means. Our PI was questionable but the one that went ND's way was absurd. The QB was intentionally throwing the ball away and it sailed high out of bounds and landed at least 15 feet beyond the line. Absurd.
