Sun Bowl a likely possibility for the Sun Devils?

Well, at least it is a fun opponent and should be an entertaining game.

Sam Leavitt reportedly did not attend ASU's banquet tonight.

Time to turn the page on Leavitt. Been a great run, but it's time. Hopefully he can find a blue-blood program and have success in the NFL like JD.

Chris Karpman in the linked article in the tweet read:

Dillingham referenced the nature of his program being built by a bunch of overlooked and discarded players who transferred to be Sun Devils and achieve something special together.

ASU's third-year head coach also said that he would not cut corners or make cultural sacrifices for any individuals in his efforts to continue to improve ASU's program.

Feel for Kenny. He needs some NIL help...asap

My guess is ASU can pay a fair amount of NIL money but not top dollar.

If it gets into millions of dollars, I can see players taking the money if there is a huge disparity as a pro career is never assured.

Leavitt really may not be all that great a loss. He has never been very adept as a dropback QB, and his skills as a scrambler are likely to be diminished by his foot injury. I would be very surprised if he flourishes wherever he ends up or ever sees the field in the NFL.

This sounds like the things written about Jayden Daniels when he left. I should know as I said things like that about him.

For me, it's more about the disappointment. It wasn't supposed to end this way.

Prior to the injury, Sam Leavitt was expected to go pro at the end of the season. I wish him well. Lots of great memories.
