Corbin was on base 4x and was sent home once. He is the lead off hitter.

I dont think Sewald was the issue here. It was the inability to get base runners home.

So, he has been a very good closer, but not good in non save situations. Got it.

Lost in all this was the horrific decision to pull Sewald with 2 outs and go to a cold Morillo, who immediately gave up the walk off.

Sewald took the loss but really it was on Torey and Morillo

I tend to agree. But we both know if he left Sewald in, he would have been blasted for that. But yeah, it was Paul’s game at that point.
