yeah, if they can't win a road trip against Cincy, Texas and the Padres, it's hard to see them holding off the Rockies and/or the Dodgers

The Dbacks get something going in the second, but Jay lines into a DP to end the threat.

COL is on a roll just at the right time. They are raking - what else is new, but they are now getting valuable pitching support to match that incredible offense.
I still say that when it’s all said and done, the West will end up like this:

1). LA
2). COL
3). ARZ

The D-backs, down 2-0 on Sunday on a 2-run HR in the 1st have tied it up, featuring a HR by Peralta in the 3rd, back in the lineup. Talk about tying it up coming out of your sickbed.

Who knows what the score would have been with him playing healthy yesterday

Padres take the lead with a two-out single in the 6th, still batting

Top of the order manages a weak infield single, nothing else.

Our batting average with Runners on Base and Runners in Scoring Position, AFTER the first inning, has to be at record-breaking lows... It's truly stunning!

Our best OF is Peralta, Pollock and Souza. Not sure how many games they have started together
First of all, Descalso just hit a HR and it's tied 3-3 in the top of the 8th. Just bounced off the top of the fence in RF.

I agree that Peralta, Pollock and Souza is our best starting outfield. But, even when there are no injuries, Lovullo is still rotating four outfielders, which he said he would no longer do for the rest of the season.

Between that and Lovullo not being truthful to the Press/fans about Peralta's illness, we'll have to take what Torey says with a grain of salt.
