The Arizona Cardinals report to training camp on July 22 and begin the process of preparing for the regular season, forming the roster and determining starting jobs and roles on the team.
Leading up to the start of camp, we will take a look at every player on the offseason roster, their background, their contract, their play in 2025, questions they face and their roster outlook.
Here is defensive lineman Damonic Williams.
The 6-foot-1, 305-pound Williams played two seasons at Texas Christian before finishing his college career for two seasons at Oklahoma where he was a team captain in 2025. He played 12 games with 11 starts and had 27 tackles (10 solo/4.5 for loss), 1.5 sacks and a pass defensed.
Undrafted, Williams signed a three-year free-agent contract with the Cardinals worth $3.14 million that includes $215,000 guaranteed: $40,000 signing bonus along with $175,000 of his $885,000 base salary. The salary-cap charge is $898,333.
While the competition on the line will be stiff, keep an eye on Williams during camp and preseason games. He is strong with long arms, quickness and the ability to be a disruptive force in run defense. He might face long odds to make the 53-man roster, but placing him on waivers at the cutdown to 53 on Aug. 30 in hopes of signing him to the practice squad could result in other teams putting in a claim.
