The Arizona Cardinals report to training camp on July 22 and begin the process of preparing for the regular season, forming the roster and determining starting jobs and roles on the team.

Leading up to the start of camp, we will take a look at every player on the offseason roster, their background, their contract, their play in 2025, questions they face and their roster outlook.

Here is offensive lineman Jayden Williams.

Jayden Williams background, 2025 season

Williams is a rookie. The Cardinals drafted him in the seventh round this year out of Ole Miss. In his college career, he was a starter at both left tackle and right tackle. He started 15 games at right tackle in 2025.

Jayden Williams contract details, salary cap hit

Williams signed a four-year, $4.6 million contract. He received a signing bonus of more than $181,000 and will make $885,000 in salary in 2026. His cap hit will be more than $930,000.

Roster outlook, questions he faces

As a seventh-round pick, he is not guaranteed a spot on the roster, but will be in the mix for the offensive line depth. It will be tough to make the final 53, but he will likely be a candidate for the practice squad.
