Monti’s big build through the draft gambit looks so bad right now. It sure looks like the best of those third-round picks will be a blocking tight end.
The 2024 class is looking like a disaster. TWELVE picks and the results are coming not the way you want them to.

Your top pick who was supposed to be the "guy", your franchise player, is only good so far.

Your second first round pick is getting terrible grades in year two.

Your second round CB, who you traded down and took and passing on guys like DeJean and Lassiter, just got benched for this year's 6th round draft pick.

And on and on. That class is injury riddled, has underperformed and looks to be a drag on the future of the team

I think you’re even being generous here. We’re looking at two seasons, with 17 game schedules and likely zero 1000 yard seasons from the 4th pick in the draft. That really ain’t “good”.

A ringing endorsement of a guy who was projected to be a dominant force in the league.
I don’t put much stock into pre draft hyperbole so the labels are a non factor. He is an NFL level WR. That has been proven. He is not close to a top 10 WR in the NFL. That is disappointing. Too early to call on his ceiling.

It’s actually a ligament strain on the upper part of the shin. Super easy to re-injure.
Oh, dang! I've had countless regular ankle roll sprains over the years that have led to countless surgeries and crippling disability (long story), and to learn that those are easier to heal/harder to re-injure than a high ankle sprain is crazy!
