About a month until fall and that means NFL will hit the TV screens again.
Down in Tampa, the Buccaneers are preparing for their 52nd season, which will begin against the New York Jets. Head coach Todd Bowles (35-33 at the helm) and quarterback Baker Mayfield (hoping to get a new contract extension) fell short of the playoffs last season, though injury had a great deal to do with Tampa's 8-9 record.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers to watch
Here are the top 5 players to keep an eye out from the Tampa Buccaneers:
- Chris Godwin Jr. (WR): A proven deep-threat receiver, Godwin is the top wideout on the depth chart and a key target for the offense.
- Ted Hurst III (WR): Ranked second on the WR depth chart, Hurst III is expected to be a consistent target in both passing and short-yardage situations
- Bucky Irving (RB): Irving’s power and vision will be crucial in the run game, especially with Kadarius Calloway also on the roster.
- Calijah Kancey (DT): As the starting left defensive end, Kancey is a key pass rusher. His size and athleticism make him a threat to disrupt both the pass and run.
- Rakeem Nunez-Roches (DT): The starting nose tackle, Nunez-Roches is a defensive anchor in the base 3-4 scheme. His pass-blocking and run-stopping ability will be vital for the defense.
