I was gonna go to this game when the schedule came out, Tampa is just over a 2 hour drive for me. The crap show this team has displayed this season has made me decide to spend my money elsewhere and endure their mess from the comfort of home watching them on TV. At this point I just want the season to end and this staff to be fired so I can have some hope.
I was too Zeno. My wife is a Bucs fan. Thank God we didn't take the plunge. Guess I'll just watch the beat down at home and take my lumps with her.

Hopefully Will Johnson follows the Jaycee Horn & Derek Stingley route where they were unlucky with injuries the first few seasons then played like All-Pros & stayed healthy
People will be so mad if he follows the Horn path. Jayce Horn missed 29 games his first 3 years.

Damn I thought he was healthy all of his 2nd season.

Stingley path I’m more hopeful of.

this isn't a snarky response, but a genuine question - did those guys have injury concerns in college and coming into the league? All the myriad of different injuries in college plus the big red flashing one on his knee is why i was never as enamored with this pick as others were. And so far, it sucks that my fears have been confirmed this season because when he is on the field, kid's a beast.

Jaycee didn’t. He was healthy all of his college career.

Stingley battled injuries his last two college years then his first two years in the league.

I still take the risk 10 times out of 10.

Even the most durable guys in college like Nolen & DRob have battled injuries so far.

We’re just unlucky.

Ironically, Michael Wilson has been relatively healthy since being in the league despite being riddled with injuries damn near all of his college career.

man, I just can't chalk this case up to bad luck. He plummeted in the draft for a reason.

Bad luck in the sense of that the most durable 1st rounders we have selected the past two drafts haven’t been the most durable. That part wasn't about Will.

ah. gotcha.

the Nolen one is really pissing me off. Robinson is pretty much a ghost out there when he's actually on the field, but Nolen flashes BIG every time he's on the field. Some guys just have "it"... he showed again with that one-armed fumble-six picked out of the air that he's just got a knack for something... special. Really hoping this year's a total fluke for his injuries.

Jason Verrett went from being very healthy in college to having the worst injury luck I ever seen in the NFL. Just brutal.

I believe luck plays a little part.

Like @DVontel said about Michael Wilson. Michael Wilson was even more injury prone than Will Johnson coming out, however, Michael has missed about what? Maybe 3 games in the league? That’s incredible.

Not saying the same luck will apply to Will, but there’s hope at least.

People have to realize you can't predict injuries unless they are degenerative or compounding (like concussions). Other than those, it is just a total crap shoot.

He was a real nice player too. Shame what happened to him.
