It's the stress and pressure of the job and I'm sure it's been really hard on him with the Super Bowl in their sights last season coupled with the utmost dissapointment of this season. Not sure he can deal with a possible rebuild so to speak.

Get well, BA!!!!

Yeah you could kind of see this coming he's always bright red on the sideline.

Hopefully he gets some rest and comes back healthier.

Instead of internalizing his anger in which he's doing this season on the side line, he needs to openly express it as he did in past years. Internal build up isnt good.

This is worse news than anything we've endured so far this season. I'm glad to read that he's home now, and hope he continues to improve.

Fitz gave an incredibly raw, emotional presser today... He mentioned how the players feel "responsible" for BA's poor health and the stress he is feeling. He mentioned that when he spoke with BA today, he gave Fitz a very short and to the point message - "We need a win..."
I'm inclined to believe that this latest "out of sync" event could very well be the final body blow to this team. BA may very well not be in Atlanta this weekend... And even if he is, he would most certainly continue to be the BA we have seen since preseason and the BA who has not been the BA from the previous 3 seasons.
Or...
Or, maybe... Just maybe this can serve as the quintessential rally cry. The singular event that snaps this team - collectively, back into reality... bringing them together as one emotionally energized unit. And maybe reminding them how to win games as they've done during the BA era.
Maybe they now realize that time is indeed fleeting. That BA won't be around forever - nor will they. And that winning in the NFL should never be taken for granted. Every second of every practice matters. Each minute away from the field is invaluable in terms of preparation. And come game day, playing each down as if it means winning or losing a Super Bowl is what's required.

Like I said, my gut is that this team is shot. Emotionally, physically, spiritually shot... and BA's visit to the ER is simply the final scene in a tragic play of a season. But man, how epic would it be if this team somehow found it in them to rally around their coach, like they've never rallied before!! One can dream I suppose... Atlanta will be the proving ground.

Good post 82.

If the Oline could pass block & all the injuries this team has suffered weren't a reality it might be possible. But I, like you think this team, staff & upcoming road schedule is just too much for it to even come close to overcoming. I see 6-9-1 staring us directly in the face.

He's everyone's cool uncle, but he's only 63 or something like that. Looks like a gruff 77 year old much of the time. I hope he gets well soon, and the team shoulders some of this burden for him.

For me personally, this is the kind of situation which one lives to play for because it goes past something like sports. It goes beyond winning on the field but winning deep inside where character lives. One does not wish for such a situation, and that is why you fight even more. We will find out what kind of character we have on this team now and this front office hopefully pays attention to which guys on this current roster have heart

Sadly everything is stacked against the Cardinals this week:
1.Early East time zone game.
2.Opponent coming off a bye week.
3.A very potent offense which figures to put points while the Cardinals offense has struggled all season.

Hope I'm wrong, but it is hard to optimistic this weekend

I've thought this game would be a loss for Long time and I didn't even know they were coming off of a bye
