Arians on Stanton: "I have no idea about infections & all that. U can talk to the doctors about that stuff. He's on schedule for next week.

Arians confirms Lindley will start. Did not like how Thomas practiced on Wed. He expects Stanton back next week

No he is not, he has a good idea about infections and even in that condition he knows that Stanton is a better option... hell, Arians would wheel Palmer out there on a wheelchair if they allowed him lol

One of the national media guys said that the reason RL is starting Sunday, LT's practice performance aside, is that BA knows that Stanton will not be available for the playoffs. And I'm guessing that BA thinks 3rd string is better than 4th string.

I would feel much more confident with Palmer in a wheelchair than Lindley. I don't even want Lindley as a vendor in the stands....the guy three rows behind me would get my peanuts.

BA is now in denial... meaning he is a little late in the whole process and will probably reach anger about the fourth quarter against the Niners, reach the sadness phase and break down crying in a presser before the playoff game and during the playoff game will find acceptance and be calm while our 3rd stringers get annihilated :D

I don't see how he could be back within 10 days after having arthroscopic surgery. I guess it's possible but isn't it usually 3-4 week minimum recovery?

How long does it take to cure an infection? Can't be that long, can it?

And would the infection impact whatever else needs to be healed?

I don't think its the infection now that may cause him not to play in the playoffs, it's the surgery he had getting it taken care. That's what I think.

I didn't even realize arthroscopic surgery was a viable option to clear an infection. I'm no doctor, but isn't the normal protocal just anti-biotics?

JMO, but I feel that BA KNOWS that Stanton is done for the year.

Yeah, we pretty much all speculated he was done for the year from the beginning. Don't know why they keep playing this game about him being available for the playoffs. Just makes them look like lying fools.

I am guessing but maybe they scoped it to clean it out and mend the tear in there at the same time? At any rate, I can't see him ready for the first playoff game at least.

But, BA can spin it however he wants to as far as I am concerned.

Stanton is probably whispering that if there's any chance at all, I'll Play.
In any case Lindley is in dress rehearsal mode. And L. Thomas for his 1-3 plays :D
