This week's Watertown Public Opinion-Aberdeen News Athlete of the Week poll (for May 18-24) is really going to be a Team of the Week poll.
We've picked 10 area high school baseball, golf, tennis and softball teams who turned in some notable performances last week for you to vote on.
Now it's your turn. You get to decide the winner. Voting will remain open until midnight on Sunday, May 31, 2026.
Congratulations are in order for Watertown High School softball player Logan Schell for winning the Watertown Public Opinion-Aberdeen News Athlete of the Week honor for May 11-17.

March 30-April 5: Aubrey Lanners, Deuel softball.
April 6-12: Brady Allen, Milbank baseball.
April 13-19: Olivia Braun, Aberdeen Central girls golf.
April 20-26: Mackenzie Wegehaupt, Aberdeen Roncalli girls golf.
April 27-May 3: Claire Horn, Castlewood softball.
May 4-10: Korbin Stark, Faulkton Area boys track and field.
May 11-17: Logan Schell, Watertown softball.
