There have been plenty of rumors involving the Chicago Bears trading for Las Vegas Raiders star pass rusher Maxx Crosby, and they aren't slowing down less than a week out from free agency.
The Bears have been the team, along with the Dallas Cowboys, most linked to Crosby amid trade speculation, and Chicago is reportedly Crosby's preferred destination. But it would take a lot to land the five-time Pro Bowler, and the Raiders are reportedly looking for two first-round picks, a similar package to what Dallas got for Micah Parsons.
While ESPN's Adam Schefter told "Waddle & Silvy" that he'd be "surprised" if Crosby landed with the Bears, Zach Wolchuk of 105.3 The FAN in Dallas said he's "getting a lot of buzz" that the Bears are the team offering two first-round picks for Crosby.
Chicago made its first big move of the offseason trading wide receiver DJ Moore (and a fifth-round pick) to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for a second-round pick. The belief is the Bears aren't quite done with the trade market, where they could be sellers (linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, quarterback Tyson Bagent) or buyers (Crosby) heading into free agency.
