This will be unpopular, but you can't ignore your WRs until you get behind and then expect them to make plays. It's one of the biggest issues I have with the offense. Yes they had drops, but is it shocking that the cardio squad isn't ready for the big moments? Have to have a balanced offense if you are going to count on this group to make plays when you have to throw the ball.

Exactly. And young receivers need clearly defined roles

It’s not at all.

We all have been saying to get Marv involved early.

Still doesn’t excuse the drops and how bad this unit is.

I was pointing out how Marv's horrible catch rate was the reason he wasn't elite and doesn't get more targets. Today, 2 drops, 1 with no one within a mile of him would have been an easy 75 yard TD if it was anyone else, and another drop in the endzone.

The elite guys don't do that. He's just not a play maker right now. He's a guy, who can occasionally make plays.

I really wish we taken Rome or Nabers.
he freaking sucks

If they want to make the playoffs this year they desperately have to get a wR upgrade. I have no idea who's available but we can't go all year with this WR group. With Conner and Benson maybe you have a chance if the defense plays well but with Conner out you HAVE to upgrade the passing game

Tough to defend the WR core today but when they have so little involvement in this offensive scheme and you have a QB who dinks and dunks his way through the near entirety of the game to RBs and blocking tight ends… not a shock your WR’s are cold AF.

But yah- performance not great today from this room.

This is a good take.

Everyone has to be ready to get the ball when it comes for you. No question. But you can’t choose to feature Tip Reiman on three-yard outs for the first 15 targets and expect your guys to be locked in.

Those targets he got puzzled me, once I can see to mix it up but he just needs to block.
