How eerily similar yet even better Brian Griese's first half against San Diego was than Jake Plummer's?
Jake went 9-14 for 94 yards and 3 TD's and sat out the 2nd half with a "concussion".
Griese went 13-14 for 145 yards and 3 TD's in the first half last night.
Conclusion? Replacing your entire secondary in one year is not easy and makes a team pretty vulnerable, especially when the opponent has a premier RB(Williams, Portis) that you have to worry about. AS a result your secondary can make a lot of Qb's look all world.
Remember Leftwich had over 300 yards and 3 TD's against San Diego, Sunday Leftwich had his THIRD 3 INT game of the season, the only really strong game he's had as a starter was the Charger game.
