The college basAnquan Boldin’s Son Makes Transfer Portal Decision on Fridayketball transfer portal continues to swirl despite May being nearly two weeks in.
While most of the big names have already found new homes, some players are still deciding on where to go for their next chapter in college basketball.
One of those was Anquan Boldin Jr., the son of former NFL wide receiver Anquan Boldin.
Boldin Jr. played his first two seasons at Buffalo, and in 2024-25, he started all 31 games while averaging 7.8 points per game with 3.2 rebounds.
However, he decided to enter the transfer portal despite having a key role for Buffalo.

Boldin Jr. took a visit to Iona and also had interest from other programs, including Texas A&M, which is going through a change after head coach Buzz Williams left for the Maryland job.
But, Boldin's decision came on Friday as he decided to commit to Florida A&M, per Jamie Shaw of On3.
Boldin Jr. then posted a photo on X of himself in a Florida A&M jersey.
Anquan Boldin and Charlie Ward - the new Florida A&M basketball coach - both played college football at Florida State, so there's a little connection there.
Boldin Jr. played high school basketball at IMG Academy but was unranked by On3 and wound up choosing Buffalo.
Now, Boldin's son is going to play for Ward, a former Heisman Trophy winner, with a Rattlers team that won just 13 games a year ago and is trying to turn the page with a new era.
