We've talked about trading back and getting draft capital. Let's try something different.

What would you give the Raiders for their pick?

What do you think the Raiders would take for their pick?

for sake of argument -- and lets say Brady tells the Raiders to acquire 2027 capital and get Manning instead

#3, #34 and a 2027 #1 and #3rd

Short answer? The farm.

Longer answer? #1 and #2 this year. #1 and #3 next year. #1 the following year.

That's WAY too much to move up two spots in a year when Mendoza is the clear #1, he isn't the best prospect in a decade or anything...

In comparison, Trey Lance trade went from pick 12 to 3 and they only gave up 3 1sts and a 3rd.

If he's the guy, he's the guy. This season is waaay different to the Trey Lance situation. You would have to make the Raiders want to trade.

That's an answer to the second question.
I just mean I don’t think they can be overwhelmed. Making a trade would tell their fans the Cards want a new QB more than we do.

That's why there were two questions. I was asking in a way that if you were the Cards GM what would you be willing to give up for the 1st pick and then what do you believe the Raiders would actually take for the pick. I don't think they have any intention of trading the pick away but if someone was willing to give them a trade like the Hershel Walker trade then who knows.

This is how I feel. If he is that guy then at least try to get him. I may be higher on Mendoza than most but he looks like the real deal and by most accounts he is a true leader. I don’t hate KM but it seems like Mendoza is the complete opposite from a leader/player standpoint.
