Episode 5.. the flashback.

Firmly cemented the little octopus eyeball as absolutely the coolest character in the show.

I am probably in the minority, but I think this series would be more interesting without the “Lost Boys” superkids. I am having trouble being interested in them. Love the other characters, world building and production quality. And maybe I’ll come around on the kids.

I think without the part robot trying to get the alien back and Olyphant’s full robot, I wouldn’t watch this show at all.

And even then, I might not finish S1.

Hmm. That did not go how I expected.
I was really hoping the "Eyetopuss" was gonna find Boy whatever(Kavalier?) before anyone else did. The irony of him trying to feed the monster a "dumb" host then being taken himself would have been joyous.

I love this show but man he word is this series cost $250 million for season 1. I really hope they can sustain the costs of the show for Season 2 and beyond. This show might have a short hook though if there is any ratings drop whatsoever.

ing, well...2.5mil an episode aint so bad... then I realized it was ten times that??
if they are dumping over 25mil an episode...there just aint no way this series survives. its impossible to sell enough advertising to make it profitable.
They are gonna need 25% of the country to jump in as new subscribers..as well as a good chunk of europa

IDK about the numbers, but online they are garnering a following. I think this is a slow build on season one. Word of mouth is getting them a larger audience as this goes along. I read an online article today and the main writer has a multi season arc planned out. I hope it does get renewed.

Just finished this I thought it was fantastic…. The flip to the “children” at the end. Awesome
