Holy cow. First 30 minutes are already better than Prometheus and Covenant.

Clarify.

Better than the first 30 minutes of either Prometheus or Covenant.
Or..
Better than the first 30 minutes of Prometheus and Covenant combined?
Or....

The first 30 minutes is better, more amazing, more entertaining...than Prometheus and Covenant in their entirety??

I think Prometheus was a clear tier or two above Covenant but if this show is Covenant-caliber I’m in.

I loved the first 30 minutes of Prometheus but despised Covenant from the beginning to the end. I've only watched the first 35 minutes of this show so far - I like it but I'm not awed by it yet. And it's the kind of movie/tv show that I believe needs to wow you every so often.

About 10 minutes into episode 2...there is a scene with a cat.
Might just be a top ten all time television scene...it was epic. Creepy, horrifying, hilarious...all rolled into one.

It's early yet. But the production value of this show is off the charts.

Production values are pretty high which already puts this show behind the 8 ball but so far so good.

New episode dropped today.
Im telling ya fellas, we may be witnessing the creation of a Masterpiece. The directing is very good...maybe even incredible.
The way they have these actors playing out their characters is so well done. It is very easy to see an 8 year old, talking to a 10 year old...while both inhabit 25 year old bodies.
I aint gonna lie, I kinda pshawed at the concept when it was first introduced... but the actors are killing it and the direction is keeping them on point.
Not to mention, my homey Tim Olyphant...playing a character with basically zero personality...that takes work, because Tim is loaded with personality..but this synth he is playing is beige as beige gets...

I am enjoying this one so far. episode three gave us some ideas on which direction the season is going to take...and I am looking forward to the journey

He's done that before in Hitman.

I like the first three episodes. The throwback 60'/70's vibe is cool, too. Some of those computer screens look like old ones I used to use. LOL.

The last episode felt the most Alien yet. I like the introduction of the other species gives it a bit of variety compared to the normal Alien stuff we are used to seeing in the franchise.

I guess they weren't all friends.
