It was a busy couple days for Missouri football on the recruiting trail.

Four more players committed to the Tigers’ 2027 recruiting class over the course of Sunday and Monday, with the quartet headlined by four-star, Kansas City-based offensive lineman Kyler Kuhn, who is a top-250 prospect in this high school cycle, and four-star St. Louis-based running back Kingston Miles, who flipped his pledge from Auburn to MU.

Before Kuhn and Miles gave their verbal pledges to Eli Drinkwitz’s next class, the Tigers added three-star Miami native and cornerback T’ari Miller and three-star offensive tackle Jaylen Hill out of Alabama on Sunday.

The Tigers now have 18 players in their 2027 recruiting class. All but one of those players has committed in the past three months, as Mizzou is making much quicker work than it did at this time last year.

For reference, Mizzou’s Class of 2026 didn’t hit double-digit commitments until September last year. That was partly because the SEC had a roster limit of 85 players at the time, a number that has since increased to 105, but that’s still quite a difference.

This high school class is rapidly coming together.

Here’s who is currently verbally committed in Mizzou’s 2027 class, and where that group is ranked nationally:

Missouri football 2027 recruiting rankings

247Sports: No. 25 in the nation, No. 9 in the SEC

Rivals: No. 26 in the nation, No. 10 in the SEC

Both major recruiting services have the Tigers ranked as a top-30 class in the country as of Monday, June 22.

The Tigers have had a top-30 class in each of the past three years — and in every year except 2023 under Drinkwitz — and this class appears to be on a similar trajectory.

Mizzou’s class currently has seven players rated as four-star prospects by 247Sports: Brown, Harris, Kuhn, Britt, Miles, Warren and Rhymes.

Seven players have committed from within the Missouri state border. That includes three of the top five players from the Show-Me State (No. 1 Brown; No. 3 Harris; No. 5 Kuhn) and three more of the top 10 (No. 6 Miles; No. 7 Rhymes; No. 8 Govan).

It’s an offensive line-heavy class so far, with six pledges from the big men in the trenches to date.

Harris and Britt are both expected to play wide receiver for Mizzou despite still being listed as athletes by 247Sports.

Who are the next Missouri recruiting targets to know?

Drinkwitz has previously said 18- to 22-player classes will be the sweet spot for Mizzou in the roster-limit era, so there could still be a few more commitments before this class is finished.

At defensive end, four-star Antwan Jackson has Mizzou in his final three, along with Alabama and Ole Miss, and the Tigers have had three-star visitors Solomon Efunbajo and Dallas Paludo on campus.

Four-star cornerback Raheem Floyd appears to be down to Mizzou and Florida, with a commitment date set for July 1.

Three-star wide receiver Charles Britton III visited Mizzou in June and appears to be a potential summer pledge.

When is signing day?

The early signing period for the Class of 2027 begins Dec. 4. That is when the 18 players currently committed to the Tigers’ next class, and anyone who commits between now and that date, can first officially sign financial documents and agreements.

Regular signing day, now a far-less prominent occasion on the Division-I college football recruiting calendar, will be Feb. 5, 2027.
