Add another wide receiver to Mizzou’s Class of 2027.

Three-star wide receiver Charles Britton III has committed to Missouri football in the 2027 recruiting class, he announced Tuesday, June 30, in a live stream with 247Sports and CBS Sports.

The pledge gives Mizzou its 19th verbal commitment in this cycle and puts the Tigers on the cusp of the top 25 national team recruiting rankings.

Britton, who is entering his senior season at Belleville High in Michigan, chose Mizzou over Michigan and Miami.

According to 247Sports, Britton caught 53 passes for 981 yards and 13 touchdowns in 10 games last season as a junior at Belleville.

The wideout is rated as a three-star prospect and the No. 845 player nationally by 247Sports in the outlet’s composite rankings. Britton, who is listed at 5-foot-10½ and 170 pounds, is the 98th-ranked wide receiver and the No. 13 player coming out of the state of Michigan in the 2027 class.

Mizzou now has three pass-catching commits in this recruiting class. Britton joins four-star Lee’s Summit native Chris Harris Jr. and four-star Memphis prospect Lawrence Britt.
