Academy to host Showcase Events in Huddersfield and North Yorkshire
Leeds United Academy will once again provide young footballers with the chance to showcase their talent this summer, hosting Academy Showcase Events in both Huddersfield and North Yorkshire for Under-5 to Under-8 players.
The events are designed to identify the region's brightest young prospects, giving aspiring footballers the opportunity to impress Leeds United Academy coaches and scouts in a professional Academy environment.
Open to current U5-U8 players (new school years Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 from September), the showcases form part of the club's continued commitment to discovering and developing local talent across Yorkshire.
To be eligible, players must live within one hour of the Leeds United Training Ground (LS23 7BA).
Huddersfield Event:
Date: Thursday 20th August
Times:
U5/U6: 10am - 11am
U7/U8: 11:30am - 12:30am
Location: Lockwood Park, Brewery Drive, Lockwood, Huddersfield, HD4 6EN
North Yorkshire Event:
Date: Saturday 29th August
Times:
U5/U6: 1-2pm
U7/U8: 2:30pm-3:30pm
Location: York St John University Sports Fields, Haxby Road, New Earswick, York, YO31 8TA
