Joel Embiid was seen putting the 3-ball in during Sunday's pre-game routine ahead of NBA playoffs Game 4 against the Boston Celtics. The Philadelphia 76ers star has been out since April 9 after an emergency appendectomy.
The video of Embiid doing shooting warmups is an encouraging update for the Sixers as they hope to tie the series at home.

Just hours before the game, the 76ers upgraded Embiid's status from doubtful to questionable, meaning there's a possibility that the center might finally return for Game 4 action. Embiid could be on limited minutes though.
Embiid's presence could really be a big boost for the Sixers, who have relied on Tyrese Maxey, Paul George and rookie VJ Edgecombe to come up with the bulk of scoring production. Embiid's interior defense and rebounding prowess could land a big blow on the Celtics, should he play Game 4.

What is going on with 76ers Joel Embiid's rehab?
Earlier this week, the 76ers started Joel Embiid on a strength and conditioning program. Ahead of Celtics-76ers Game 3, Embiid was a partial participant in practice. Head coach Nick Nurse shared his optimism that he expects the big man to make a return in this playoff series.
"We're, obviously, really hopeful, and I think he's really hopeful," Nurse said. "He wants to play, and we want him to play. I don't know how close we are to that at this point, but I think there's some progress being made. Let's hope it keeps that way. Keeps going that way."
The 76ers are looking forward to earning their first playoff victory against the Celtics since 1982. Joel Embiid's team will need to be at their best against Jaylen Brown & Co.
