Free agency is only a daaaay aaaaawaaaayy. And before that bell rings at 9am Pacific time, let's take a look at a few of the wide receivers who are set to hit the market who would be great additions to the Raiders roster.

Las Vegas desperately need help at receiver. They don't have much in the way of proven talent at the position. Which is to say they have none. Tre Tucker is the closest thing they have to earning starter reps. If you figure 2025 second round pick Jack Bech could be a big slot, they would still be one receiver short of even fielding a starting lineup, let alone a good one.

Adding one of these guys would go a long way to helping give expected top pick Fernando Mendoza a much needed weapon on the passing game.

1. WR Alec Pierce

The X receiver everyone wants. Pierce is about to get paid. He's coming off two seasons in which he led the NFL in yards per catch while hauling in a combined 13 touchdowns.

2. WR Rashid Shaheed

Shaheed was brought to Seattle from New Orleans last season where he reunited with his former offensive coordinator, Klint Kubiak. Now Kubiak is the head coach in Las Vegas, where he kept Joe Woods as defensive pass game coordinator, who was in New Orleans coaching to try and stop Shaheed in practice every day the previous two seasons. It only seems like a logical dot to connect that Shaheed could again follow Kubiak.

3. WR Romeo Doubs

This would be somewhat of a homecoming for the LA native and Nevada-Reno alum. It would also add a proven target to the Raiders who has seen his numbers improve in each of his four NFL seasons and has 21 career touchdowns.

4. WR Mike Evans

Injuries last season ended Evans' incredible streak of 1000-yard seasons at 11. The 32-year-old is as savvy as they come, averaging double digit touchdowns over his career prior to his injury shortened season last year. He is the quintessential X receiver. Though at his age, he doesn't have a lot left, the Raiders would only need to get one or two good seasons out of him, which seems very possible.

5. WR Jauan Jennings

Though his overall receiving numbers went down this season from his 2024 season, his touchdowns went up. Overall, his past two seasons have been very good, catching 132 passes for 1618 yards and 15 touchdowns. The Raiders could certainly use that kind of production.
