The Atlanta Falcons have tweaked their roster in a number of areas, but they could use more help at the wide receiver position. The team released veterans Darnell Mooney and KhaDarel Hodge before adding Jahan Dotson, Olamide Zaccheaus and Zachariah Branch.
All three players should be heavily involved on offense this season, but the Falcons still don't have a ton of depth behind Drake London. While free agency is still an option, there are a few interesting names available on the trade market.
If Falcons general manager Ian Cunningham isn't happy with the team's current wide receiver group, here are two possible trade targets for Atlanta in 2026.
Bleacher Report listed the Falcons among the potential landing spots for San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk. The Arizona State standout would be the clear-cut No. 2 option behind London in Atlanta.
"Whoever is under center in Atlanta has some weapons at his disposal in wide receiver Drake London and tight end Kyle Pitts," wrote Bleacher Report's Gary Davenport. "However, the trio of wide receivers behind London—Jahan Dotson, Olamide Zaccheaus and rookie Zachariah Branch—aren't exactly scaring anyone. The NFC South is arguably the most wide-open division in the league. All four teams have a legitimate chance to capture the crown if things break the right way. Adding Aiyuk on the cheap could greatly increase the chances of that happening for the Falcons in 2026."
Over the last six seasons, Aiyuk has recorded 294 catches for 4,305 receiving yards and 25 touchdowns. The 28-year-old is looking for a new home just two years after signing a four-year extension in San Francisco. The 49ers recently voided Aiyuk's guarantees, adding to the tension between the two parties. The team has since signed former Buccaneers WR Mike Evans.
Another potential trade target for Atlanta is Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims. According to Pro Football Focus' Bradley Locker, Mims could be available due to the Broncos' recent addition of Jaylen Waddle.
"With the Broncos trading for Dolphins superstar Jaylen Waddle in March, it knocks Mims down the depth chart — potentially all the way to fifth behind Troy Franklin and Pat Bryant," wrote PFF's Bradley Locker. "The 24-year-old would be appealing to other clubs as he enters a contract season, especially considering his strong return skills.
Mims' best season came in 2024, when he recorded 39 catches for 503 and six touchdowns for the Broncos. The former Oklahoma Sooner's kick-return ability would also fill a need for Atlanta. Since entering the league in 2023, Mims has racked up 98 catches for 1,202 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.
