Many considered the Los Angeles Rams' roster for the 2026 season to be the best in the NFL. A new top-100 list from CBS Sports' Pete Prisco effectively confirms this idea.
The Rams have five players listed in Prisco's breakdown, but three are in the top 10 and two rank Nos. 1 and 2. This is a testament not only to Les Snead and Sean McVay's roster-building strategies, but also their ability to identify and accumulate talent that is near the top of the league, no matter the position.
Here is where all five of the Rams players landed on Prisco's list:
For what it's worth, ex-Rams edge rusher Jared Verse came in at No. 68.
None of this should be surprising. Garrett won Defensive Player of the Year for a second consecutive year in 2025 and Stafford won MVP. Nacua ranked No. 1 in receptions, No. 2 in receiving yards and finished second in Offensive Player of the Year voting. All three are at the top or near the top of their respective positions.
The Rams are also one of two teams with more than one player in the top 10, joining the Cincinnati Bengals' Joe Burrow (No. 5) and Ja'Marr Chase (No. 4).
This top-heavy model contrasts sharply with how other NFL rosters are built on Prisco's list. For example, the Philadelphia Eagles lead the league with eight total players, but none of them cracked the top 20. The Rams' five players are tied for fifth-most among teams alongside the Detroit Lions, Houston Texans and Dallas Cowboys.
