NFL fans are going to see a lot of the Los Angeles Ramsthis season. Sean McVay’s squad tied an all-time record with seven prime-time games, including four in the first five weeks, as well as matchups on Thanksgiving Eve and Christmas Day.
As the Super Bowl favorites, it’s hardly a surprise that the Rams were given the prime-time treatment. Their list of opponents makes it even easier to understand why the Rams have so many prominent games.
CBS Sports ranked the top 10 games of 2026, and three Rams contests made the cut. They even had one other game (vs. Chiefs in Week 13) in the “missed the second cut” section.
The first game in the top 10 is the season opener against the 49ers in Australia, the first-ever NFL game on the continent. CBS Sports ranked it as the 10th-best game of 2026. Rams-49ers is always circled on the calendar for every fan of those teams, but there will be a lot of eyes on this game because it’s on Thursday night in Week 1.
Next is Rams-Seahawks at No. 5, the season finale for both teams. If everything goes according to plan, this game could very well be for the NFC West title and the No. 1 seed in the conference. It’s a prime candidate to be flexed into the Sunday night spot for the final week of the season, but only if it carries serious playoff implications.
Regardless, the second rematch of last year’s NFC title game should be a thriller in Inglewood as this rivalry only continues to get stronger with McVay and Mike Macdonald at the helm of their respective teams.
And finally, Bills at Rams was ranked No. 2 by CBS Sports. It’s a Monday night game between two of the best offenses in football, who combined for 86 points the last time they met in 2024.
The Rams have so many intriguing games on the schedule in 2026 that you could argue that nine or 10 of them warranted consideration for this list. In addition to the games listed above, they will also play the Broncos, Eagles, Packers and Cowboys.
It’s going to be a wild season in Los Angeles this year.
