The Alabama Crimson Tide will host the Tuscaloosa Regional at Sewell-Thomas Stadium beginning on Friday evening.

The Tide will enter the NCAA tournament as the No. 7 national Seed. Sewell-Thomas Stadium will host Oklahoma State, South Carolina Upstate, and Alabama State this weekend, as the Crimson Tide will begin the tournament against the Hornets on Friday night.

Here are three bold predictions for Alabama baseball in the Tuscaloosa Regional this weekend.

Brady Neal dominates at plate, records 4+ RBI

Neal was undoubtedly the Tide's most consistent hitter across the 2026 campaign. The star senior ended the year hitting .328, and Neal could quickly begin to dominate once again during the Tuscaloosa Regional this weekend.

Neal has totaled 43 RBI on the year as well, and the outfielder will look to stay hot against Alabama State on Friday.

John Lemm explodes offensively, records 2+ home runs

Lemm has proven to come through for the Tide on multiple occasions during SEC play this year. The catcher will need to keep things rolling during the Tuscaloosa Regional, as Lemm could easily find himself at the plate in a huge moment this weekend.

Lemm ended the year hitting .244 with nine home runs and 31 RBI, and he will now look to shine across the Tide’s critical weekend at the Joe.

Myles Upchurch shines on mound, records 7+ innings pitched

Upchurch has been one of the most impressive freshman in all of college baseball throughout 2026. The star flamethrower ended his first regular season in Tuscaloosa with a team-best 3.34 ERA among weekend starters, and Upchurch will need to continue playing at a high level across the entire postseason.

The talented freshman will more than likely be on the mound during Sunday's contest, as Upchurch finds himself in prime position to shine once again during the NCAA Tournament.

Alabama will begin the Tuscaloosa Regional against Alabama State on Friday evening at 6 p.m. CT, as the Tide will look to start the NCAA Tournament on a high note.
