Here are three bold predictions for Alabama softball in the 2026 NCAA Tuscaloosa Regional this weekend.
Giles has been one of the most consistent hitters in Alabama’s lineup this season. The star catcher will look to keep things rolling at the plate in the Tuscaloosa Regional this weekend, as Giles could easily get off to a hot start against USC Upstate on Friday.
Giles hit an impressive .382 across the regular season, and the senior will look to cement herself in Alabama history throughout the postseason.
Moten has been widely regarded among the top freshman pitchers in all of college softball this season. The young star will get her first postseason opportunity this weekend in the Tuscaloosa Regional, and Moten will more than likely continue to shine across the entire tournament.
The talented freshman owns a 1.73 ERA throughout her first season on the college level, and Moten will play a massive role for the Tide in the postseason.
Wells hit a team-high .404 across the regular season campaign at Alabama. The star infielder will need to be at her best throughout this weekend’s tournament, as Wells has been the Tide’s top offensive weapon across Alabama’s historic season this year.
