The Alabama Crimson Tide will face the Missouri Tigers in the opening round of the SEC Tournament on Wednesday.
The Tide enter the matchup following two-straight losses to Vanderbilt and Texas. Alabama had an excellent 2025-26 campaign, as the Tide ended the regular season with an overall record of 21-9. Alabama recorded a 7-9 record throughout SEC play as well, as the Tide will look to make a statement against the Tigers on Wednesday.
Here are three bold takes for Alabama’s clash with Missouri in the opening round of the SEC Tournament.
Timmons has played a massive role on the offensive end of the floor throughout the entire 2025-26 season. The talented senior was nothing short of elite in Alabama’s loss to Texas, as the star guard recorded 24 points in addition to three rebounds and three assists.
Timmons could quickly begin to shine against Missouri on Wednesday evening, as the Crimson Tide star has played a pivotal role in Alabama’s overall success this season.
Scott has been an excellent second option behind Timmons on the offensive end of the floor this season. The star senior averages 9.4 points and 3.5 rebounds per game, as Scott could quickly begin to thrive on both ends of the hardwood against Missouri on Wednesday night.

Weathers will more than likely emerge with a massive role on defense once again against Missouri as well.
