Could have should have taken Brunson. Went with another guy... He probably worked very hard at his game as well, but did he compete and win in his situation? Dragan Bender rode the bench. Doncic starred. Brunson starred and won. Elie Okobo (was it?) did he play much in Euro League or did scouts look at potential or small chunk clips? Same thing with Tatum. He was considered slow and not athletic enough but he produced. Hard to know if it translates. Look at college legend (forgot his name) [Jimmer Fredette]. He was no Steph Curry or that little PG traded from the Hawks [Trae Young]. I think playing time and production should factor more when drafting players. It is no silver bullet, but I think it matters in many cases. It proves you have the drive to compete and do what it takes to win.

Still stings the Knicks were able to win a title. Only a few years ago, people were making comments; the knicks doing knicks things, Dolan is the worst owner... ff 2 years and they win it all.

And winning it with players where people here talked down on a few of them like KAT and Mikal.

Put a #1 and almost a #2 in OG Anonouby along with them, I don't think KAT and Mikal would get much heat. Both are limited as #1 and #2 on a team. Impressed by KAT. I expexted him to stink up their team but seems he fit in well.
