Scary thing about Wemby (among many scary skills) is he’s shooting 87% from the FT in the playoffs. 100/115 total. He’s probably the greatest FT center ever.

I don't have a dog in the fight, so I'll go with the team that hasn't won a title recently. The Knicks haven't won since Phil Jackson was a player on the team. So was Bibby. Henry Bibby, Mike's dad.

i was first really worried about wemby after the all star game - i knew how talented he was but not how team oriented he is - he hasn't adjusted to nba play he's brought the international style of basketball that pops loved and wemby has the talent around him to be unselfish - and you can tell the championship level desire is there

I think people have completely forgotten how dominant a 22 year old Duncan was, kicking the snot out of in his prime Shaq and then swatting away the Knicks with ease in the Finals.

Maybe by that time, but only because the Bulls woulda been pretty damn old by then and Rodman was really out to lunch, even in their final Finals series championship.

They were done especially Rodman. Pippen was a solid role player after that.

when the suns beat the spurs it was because we stayed under wemby the whole time - wouldn't let him move - we didn't have a designated player bringing the double team - we sent whoever was behind wemby

wemby likes to post up at the same spot book likes to shoot from - just outside/above the free throw line and we beat him there plus we sent help

wemby tried moving his operation outside but we were pesky there too preventing his dribble with the double

the knicks can do this but their smalls have to pull some relentlessly sneaky thievery

Exactly, guard Wemby with a smaller player outside. Get underneath him, don't let him handle the ball and get comfortable.

And when he gets inside, use quick help defense.
